About

A multi-hyphenate creative life & career

I’m passionate about moving projects from strategy and planning to follow-through. Informed by user needs and product psychology, I help ideas become intuitive experiences that solve user problems. Sometimes I’m in the details of micro-interactions, shipping code directly, but always keeping a comprehensive view of the whole flow. Other times, I’m building processes and tools that empower other designers and developers to do their best work. Design systems are my sweet spot.

I’ve always been into arts and crafts, and started playing with tech at an early age, typing commands into an old Radio Shack computer. I learned how to make websites around 1999 and redesigned my personal site many times in the early aughts, for fun. In 2009, I started as a graphic/web designer at an agency where I began moving into UX. Since then, most of my roles have been a hybrid between the design and tech side of things.

I even designed the house I share with my partner and two cats. Next, I think it would be fun to learn more 3D modelling. Illustration of yarn, knitting needles, and thread
